Custom Tiaras and Crowns: A Modern Bride’s Guide
When a queen or princess marries, she does so while wearing the glitteriest, most beautiful headpiece imaginable. So, if you’re planning your own regal bridal moment, a wedding crown or tiara is as important as your dress. But if you aren’t marrying into nobility, a traditional, high, diamond-encrusted statement (unless that’s your thing!) doesn’t have to apply. In fact, throw out the rule book entirely! Your perfect piece might be something modern, Art Deco, bohemian, colorful, or that matches your gown’s style and textiles.
Despite all the gorgeous pieces sparkling away in our NY bridal accessories shop, you may find that you want something completely unique—a one-of-a-kind tiara designed just for you.

Custom Bridal Tiaras & Crowns
If ever there was a chance to live your fashion fantasy, it’s your wedding day. You might envisage a dainty porcelain flower tiara that looks like the flower crown your mom wore on her own big day. Or maybe you’ve always wanted to walk down the aisle in a Disney princess crown. No matter what kind of wedding headpiece you dream of, our designers can create your perfect finishing touch. Over the years, we’ve incorporated all kinds of elements into our brides’ unique headpieces:
- Crystal Colors: Classic clear, soft champagne, or bold jewel tones like sapphire blue or ruby red can be included to complement your gown or wedding's color scheme.
- Settings: Whether you’d like a gold, silver, or rose gold-plated piece, we can accommodate.
- Motifs: Floral crowns, Art Deco tiaras, a statement princess crown that echoes your gown’s fabrics or design—whatever you envision, we’ll make it a reality.
Gorgeous Custom Tiaras and Crown Examples
As you can see from our ten brides wearing their custom wedding tiaras and crowns below, the finished piece is always breathtaking.

Tiaras vs. Crowns: What’s the Difference?
Though often used interchangeably to mean gorgeous, sparkly, royal headpiece, they are not exactly the same thing.
What is a Tiara?
Think of it as a crescent moon—mesmerizing, and not a full circle. The setting in which all those crystals and pearls shine is open-backed and typically sits on top of the head or slightly forward like a headband. It can be sleek and subtle or ornate and dazzling, depending on the design.
For example, in Disney’s live-action Cinderella, our rags-to-riches princess is wearing a floral tiara. And in the animated version of The Little Mermaid, Ariel wears a tiara when she marries her prince.
- Works with: Updos, long waves, or half-up hairstyles
- Design options: Delicate floral motifs, vintage-inspired bands, or statement crystal designs…whatever you like!
What is a Crown?
- Works with: High, voluminous buns, sleek chignons, or cascading curls
- Design options: Embellished with crystals, pearls, porcelain flowers, and cubic zirconia.

Beyond the Wedding: A Custom Tiara as a Family Heirloom
Your one-of-a-kind bridal headpiece isn’t just an accessory for your special day—it can become a cherished family heirloom. Many of our brides who later have children celebrate with a newborn photoshoot, featuring their little one wearing their crown!
More than one bride has also passed her headpiece on to sisters and cousins to wear on their wedding day. Whether kept as a keepsake or shared with future generations, a custom tiara is a beautiful way to carry your wedding memories forward.
