Glam Wedding in Athens, Greece | Stella + George

Stylish and glamorous, Stella knew she wanted to be dressed to the nines for her destination wedding in Athens, Greece. Naturally, she chose Galia Lahav gowns at Bridal Reflections. Confections of lace, applique, and organza, both wedding dresses were dream-day ready. Next, our lovely bride visited our NYC bridal accessory boutique, where a statement wedding hair comb—whose floral motif complemented the lace of her dresses—stole her heart. Feeling a little more sparkle was called for, she selected wedding bracelet and earrings.

Then, it was off to Greece with George for the wedding of their dreams!

We love a modern fairytale, so when Stella relayed her and George’s story along with her fabulous wedding day photos, we had to share:

"How Stella Stole the Chef!

Stella met Chef George while he was working at a trendy New York City restaurant back in November 2020. After some fun, flirting, dating, and traveling, George decided to propose to Stella in St. Moritz, Switzerland on January 9th, 2023. She said Yes!

Both Stella and George are Greek-Americans and felt a sentimental attachment to get married in Athens, Greece. Within a short 6 months, Stella teamed up with the well renowned and award winning DeplanV to create her dream wedding!

Their wedding was held on July 29th, 2023, at the Grand Resort Lagonissi on the Athens Riviera. Stella wore a customized Alma Gown by Galia Lahav, followed by a Betty Gown by Galia Lahav. Her exceptional dress is matched with customized earrings, bracelet, and a head piece from Bridal Styles Boutique.”
