Wedding at Rosecliff in Newport, Rhode Island | Samantha + Kenny

Four days before Valentine’s Day in their freshman year of college, Samantha and Kenny met at a party…and then spent the entire night talking and enjoying the sunrise together. Their first (official) date soon followed, and the rest, as they say, is history!

As they planned their wedding at Rosecliff in Newport, Rhode Island, these two lovebirds shared a vision for an elegant celebration filled with flowers and personal elements inspired by their love story and life together.

Romantic Bridal Style

Samantha wanted her wedding look to reflect her personal style and the feel of the day ahead. So, she kept her makeup natural (with a touch of glam, of course!) and her hair down in loose curls accented with a statement crystal hair vine from our boutique. The overall effect was exactly as Samantha had envisioned—both glamorous but 100% her.

Our lovely bride then slipped into her lace Eve of Milady wedding dress from Bridal Reflections. To that gorgeous gown, she added diamond drop earrings from our boutique, a cathedral-length veil from Boutique de Voile, and a diamond bracelet Kenny had given her, and she then stepped into her fabulous Louboutins!

After a sweet, teary moment with her dad, Samantha and Kenny shared an intimate first look (and a sweet moment with their pup, Sophia) in Rosecliff’s glorious gardens.

Garden-Inspired and Gorgeous ‘I Do’

Though the threat of rain pushed the proceedings indoors, Samantha and Kenny’s vows were just as sensational in one of their venue’s glided rooms, filled with the love of friends and family seated on golden chivari chairs as well as lush flowers and a stunning floral arch.

With the help of their officiant, Samantha infused her Mexican heritage into their ceremony, and after reciting vows, she and Kenny shared their love letters to one another.

A Dreamy, Glam Wedding Day

Kenny’s last name, Botello, is similar to the Spanish word botella, which means bottle. Both the bride and groom are champagne and tequila lovers (they met at that party over a tequila shot!) and both families speak Spanish, so, in a fun play on words, they used mini champagne bottles as escort cards that read “Pop Botellos.”

Friends and family then sat at candle-lit round tables topped with a mix of high and low centerpieces in tones of white, cream, and blush, gold-rimmed chargers and flatware, and blush monogrammed menu cards. Three cocktails inspired by special moments in the couple’s relationship were served, including “Rosé Sangria” which captured their love for their pup. Plus, there was a champagne tower!

The meal reflected the couple’s foodie sensibility and included Kenny’s favorite dish, grilled ribeye steak with chive chimichurri and crispy onion. Even their cake was personal—its flavor was crème brûlée with pastry cream filling and caramel buttercream. At the end of the night, New York-style pizza (named after Sophia!) was served with custom napkins printed with the message “I love you with every pizza my heart.”
