Unique Bridal Headpieces Against a Dramatic Sky | Dubai Shoot

Dubai. Mention the city and your imagination conjures up spectacular vistas, a modern skyline punctuated with buildings that touch the heavens, vivid colors, and glamorous, luxe style. So, when travel photographer Matthew Shearer brought some of our most unique bridal headpieces to Dubai for a hair accessories editorial, we were delighted!

We carefully packed up a few of our stunning headpieces and shipped them off for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the United Arab Emirates.

 

When choosing beautiful headpieces for the shoot, the above gold wedding headband was the first to be placed in the box. Glittering with hundreds of crystals, it's the crowning glory to any ultra-glam bride's wedding day look. It's the kind of piece that would complement a showstopping wedding ensemble and hold its own in an incredible venue. And even with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi (the UAE's capital) and a breathtaking sunset as a backdrop, it stands out!

It's pretty incredible to see our hair accessories featured in such a one-of-a-kind setting—they're usually enhancing a beautiful bride's wedding day look!

 

Pink and orange evening skies are magnificent, but we can't stop looking at the way our unique bridal headpieces pick up the colors and light. The regal bridal tiara looks particularly at home with the fiery backdrop to Dubai's skyline. It's almost as if it were moments away from being the perfect touch to a UAE bride's wedding look.

The Dubai Frame is the crowning glory of Zabeel Park in Dubai and holds the record for the largest frame in the world! It turns out the spot is also excellent for showing off our unique bridal headpieces. We love how the gold of our bridal headband interacts with that of the monument. They're the perfect complement to one another—kind of like the perfect accessory to a wedding dress.
